About
Mission Statement
HEALR Project advances healing education and land restoration for Western Shoshone communities through land-based pedagogy, Indigenous food sovereignty, and cultural economic development to promote Tribal self-determination.
Values
The Land is the First Teacher We learn outside, in relationship with the ecosystem, through the rhythm of the seasons. Western Shoshone traditional homeland, Newe Segobia, is not a backdrop to our work. It is the curriculum.

Vision Statement
A future where Yomba Shoshone children grow up whole, grounded in who they are, sovereign in their relationship to knowledge, and in living relationship with Newe Segobia, the land of their ancestors.
